I hardly know how to tell you, but...
They renewed my contract!
And not only that, they extended it until June 2012! That's not this summer, nor the next, but the one after that!!! So, that's either benign forces at work, or... they made a mistake (but who am I to correct them up there?) or... they realized that I've long since been entitled to an unlimited contract anyway and decided to throw me a bone to keep me quiet. Probably that last option, but I don't care.
This is truly amazing, do you see that? It means I won't be thrown out of my health insurance like the three summers before and that I won't have to fight against the windmills of the invisible, unreachable Salaries Office like the three summers before, that I might actually get my money at the beginning of the new school year unlike the three summers before! Wow, I really don't know what I'm going to be doing with all that time suddenly on my hands...
