I find I don't have much to say lately. I'm tired and moody and tired and headachey and tired and melancholic. Oh, and sometimes I'm tired. Well, actually I've been feeling this way all through November, so thank God this one is over at last! Bring on December, the month with the longest nights, shortest days and far too much nougat and gingerbread on the supermarket shelves... Things are bound to be brightening up in December, aren't they?
See, I'm doing it again! I hate this whing(e?)y-whin(e?)y me! And the worst thing about it all is that this bad-mood thing actually manages to drown out the good stuff that's been happening. Just as well then that the good stuff has been fairly thin on the ground, so not too much was wasted on me... See?? I'm doing it again! Jeez, I need therapy. Or sunlight. Or sleep. Or a holiday...
Ah, yes, holiday! That's the one! The good stuff.
I am going on holiday.
To London.
In February.
(Which is way too far away but right after my intermediates, plus the bonus of leaving the Rhineland over the Carnival weekend - which for most other (note how I didn't say "normal"? - wouldn't want to be kicked out permanently now, would I?!) people is the Valentine weekend by the way, but I'm not too keen on that one either.)
The flights were dead cheap. No, actually even cheaper than that. I'll definitely burn in CO2-hell for this, but, God, I can't wait!!! And I know that everyone says this kind of stuff all the time, but honestly: I can't wait!!!
Now all we need to find is a good, clean, central and cheap hotel. In London. Bahahahaaa...
See, that cheered me right up.
